Shonna is a Canadian lawyer working in the Greater Toronto Area, centrally located in the Leaside community, whose practice focuses on Wills and Estates.

Prior to opening her own law firm in 2016, Shonna worked in the professional regulatory sector for three years and the health law policy sector for 8 years.  Prior to that, Shonna practiced law at McMillan LLP.

Shonna takes a personal and focused approach to working with clients on drafting their Wills.  She knows that the process of setting a Will in place can be intimidating and overwhelming and that it involves a number of sensitive and crucial decisions.  Her ability to explain legal issues, understand the needs of her clients and gather information in a clear and concise manner allows her clients to feel confident that their wishes will be clearly articulated in their Will.

Shonna’s areas of expertise include drafting Wills (including Trusts), Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.

Shonna graduated with top honours with her BA from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 and her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2001. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2002 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
